 Mutual Exchanges - please read carefully

We are advertising mutual exchanges on this website and in our property newsletter. A brief summary of the mutual exchange process is set out below.

• Use property search to look for potential exchanges.
• Contact the tenant of the property you are interested in to see if they are interested in a possible exchange.
• If they are set up a visit to view their home. They will also want to view yours.
• If you agree you would like to exchange homes you must both contact your landlord to make a formal application.
• It is then up to your landlord to process all the paperwork and either give permission for the move or refuse it.
• If you are refused a move you must be written to with reasons for the refusal.

You must not move home without your landlord's permission which must be in writing.
